Towards automation that impacts the safety and efficiency of our roads
We’re looking for partners to make our infrastructure even more efficient and safe through automation and robotics.
APPLYAutomation across design, operations, and maintenance - powered by innovative equipment, robotics, drones, teleoperated systems, and predictive analytics - is playing an increasingly important role in addressing key challenges.
We welcome startups, scaleups, established companies, technology centers, suppliers and companies in our value chain ready to test and scale their solutions in real environments with Sacyr.
We are seeking technologies and approaches that can deliver measurable impact in one or more of the following areas:
01.
Road design and construction
During the execution phase, key activities such as materials management, earth movement and transportation, viaduct formwork, or pavement extension can be developed in different ways through automation and robotics.
02.
Infrastructure and surrounding environment maintenance and evolution
Pavements, bridges and tunnels require continuous maintenance activities. New methods of detecting and responding to incidents can impact the way roads are maintained and managed over time.
03.
Worker safety and road safety
During road construction and maintenance, workers performing infrastructure tasks may find themselves in high-risk situations derived from open traffic. Automating signage or the actual execution of tasks will result in greater safety for both workers and road users.
04.
Operations, user assistance, and traffic management
Traffic volume and speed have a long-term impact on infrastructure evolution. In the short term, congestion has a negative impact on sustainability and user service time, which is why improving traffic flow and management is therefore a critical element for road operations.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate directly with Sacyr’s business units and technical experts
Validate solutions through pilot projects in real operational environments
Receive structured feedback throughout the evaluation process
Co-create innovation addressing real infrastructure challenges
Access Sacyr’s global ecosystem across more than 20 countries
Build long-term partnerships focused on sustainability and positive impact
